Walk Highlights

Making the jump from day walks to an overnight walking adventure can be daunting for some, however it is one of the most unique and rewarding experiences. Our guided overnight walking trips are an amazing way to connect with nature, other people and most importantly, yourself!

Carrying everything you need for the night; you will walk on the Bibbulmun Track and then set up camp at one of the Bibbulmun Track hut sites. Experience setting up your tent in the beautiful bush setting, cooking your own food and learning more about overnight walks before returning the next day. The goal is to get you confident and ready to join others in overnight walks on our amazing Australian trails.

This walk on the Bibbulmun Track takes you to the highest point in the Darling Range. Mount Cooke summit is 582m above sea level (approximately 200m above the surrounding plateau) and is the highest granite monadnock in the Darling Range. Prepare for steep but short ascents/descents and great views of an ancient landscape. There is much more to explore just beyond the summit.

We'll walk in approx 7km and set up camp at Mt Cooke Campsite early afternoon and then we will walk another 4km up to the summit for sunset. Once we return, as a group we'll cook, eat and socialise together sharing stories around a campfire (when permitted) on previous adventures and passing on tips and tricks for multi-day walking. The following morning, we will again climb to the summit and enjoy sunrise (optional). After fuelling up with breakfast, we'll pack up and begin our walk back to the carpark.
